Yellowstone Guided Day Hiking (Summer Only)

Did you know only 3% of Yellowstone National Park is visible from the road? This tour is the best way to experience the parts of Yellowstone that are difficult to see on your own. We cater to any group and can include lengthy hikes across beautiful terrain or remain close to the vehicle exploring hidden roadside gems. Let us plan your perfect day in Yellowstone, whether it is your first time, or you have been here dozens of times – our experienced guides are sure to provide your best trip to Yellowstone yet.

Our Active Yellowstone tour is centered on wildlife and rugged landscapes within Yellowstone National Park, rather than the typical tourist stops. Our guests will spend a full day within Yellowstone National Park, taking time to observe wildlife Yellowstone’s several valleys and mountainous areas as well.

We can plan any number of excursions, but a typical day includes a scenic  early morning drive through Grand Teton, on the way up towards the Hayden and Lamar Valleys to catch rare wildlife which can include grizzlies, wolves, pronghorn antelope, elk, and thousands of bison. We typically stop at The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone to view the Upper and Lower Falls of the Yellowstone River. Yellowstone National Park’s history, geology, wildfires and wildlife will also be discussed in detail throughout the tour. Depending on the groups ability and desires we always like to include short to moderate hikes into the wilds of Yellowstone, under the watchful eye of experienced backcountry guides. This is our favorite trip to lead in Yellowstone, and aim high to provide an exceptional once in a lifetime experience for the whole gang! Trip-length 10 and 12 hours.
