Liam Robb O’Hagan

Liam is a Kiwi who has lived in the United States for almost 25 years. He spent his twenties guiding backpackers on New Zealand’s Routeburn and Greenstone walking trails. “I loved not only sharing the landscape with visitors to New Zealand, but also the familiarity and seeing new sides of it that only comes with spending a long-time in one place”. He has degrees in zoology and sociology.

After following his wife, Sarah, to Los Angeles at the turn of the century, he’s lived in Portland, Oregon, Chicago and New York; Three kids in three different states in four years! He’s worked as a website producer and user experience designer and most importantly a “Lead Parent”. As the family grows and the kids fledge the nest, Liam and Sarah decided it was time for a new chapter.

The Tetons are one of the few ranges in the Rockies as rugged and youthful as the Southern Alps, so Jackson was the Liam’s first choice when looking to move back out West. Sarah just wanted horses, great snow and a convenient airport. Managing Guides of Jackson Hole is a dream job, and a return to the role he most loves.
